1st Grade Teacher
I was born and raised in Ohio, but spent the majority of my adulthood in North Carolina. I served in the Army for 12 years as a psychological operations specialist, a drill sergeant, and a jump master. After discharge, I earned a degree in respiratory therapy. Six years into that career, I had a calling to become a teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education (birth-2nd grade) while working as a substitute teacher on the mainland. The majority of my classroom experience since earning this degree has been in kindergarten. I have been a parishioner at St. Elizabeth since moving to Hawai’i ten years ago and am excited to finally have an opportunity to teach at our parish school. I enjoy spending time with family, especially doing outdoor activities like hiking and getting out on the water.
