Safe Environment: Virtus Online

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

CLEARANCE OF THE VIRTUS ONLINE BACKGROUND CHECK AND TRAINING NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE CHAPERONING AND/OR VOLUNTEERING AT ANY SCHOOL EVENT. The process of receiving clearance can take a couple of days to a week after the completion of training.

  1. Go to virtusonline.org (refer above for the home page of the website)
  2. Click on FIRST-TIME REGISTRANT (dark green button on the left)
  3. Click Begin the registration process
  4. Select Honolulu (Diocese) [drop down and scroll to select]
  5. Create a username and password (KEEP THIS INFORMATION IN A SAFE PLACE)
  6. Select St. Elizabeth School (drop down and scroll to select) DO NOT SELECT St. Elizabeth Church
  7. Complete ALL PARTS OF TRAINING (background check, training, etc.)

After completing the training, Mrs. Pam Amy Zick, the Safe Environment: Virtus Coordinator, will inform your child’s homeroom teacher of clearance or if training and/or background check is incomplete.
