Dorna recently retired from a 40+ year career as a legal secretary/assistant in both the private and corporate world. Her retirement dream is to travel, which she plans to do whenever she can. When she is not traveling, she is not someone who can stay home and do nothing. Though she says she doesn't have many hobbies, when she heard St. Elizabeth School was looking for a teacher's aide, she thought it would be a nice and fun change—and here she is! Dorna has been a parishioner at St. Elizabeth since the 70s. Her son, Matt Kubota, attended SES and graduated in 1997. In fact, after his graduation Mass, Sr. Leonarda, principal at the time, asked if she would serve on the school board. She said yes, and 26 years later, she still serves as the school board's secretary. She looks forward to being a part of the SES family and hopes to contribute in any way she can.
